Moving to the middle of the short bus...

Ok soooo....last night I was working on my blog and I wanted to add an counter on to my site. I believed it to be easy...just get some free code and put it on there. But for some reason...it took me all night. Probably thanks to my 56K Dial Up speedway that I have up in my home. One day, One day.....I will be able to afford the luxury of a cable modem. One day I will be telling my children about how in MY DAY....when we surfed the net we did it thru the telephone lines....after we trudged through the snow, with no shoes, walking a mile to school. My next quest is to find out ...if it is possible...how to allow my so-called-friends post their smart @$$ comments on my blog. So far they tell me it is a members only situation and most ....if not all are either:

A) not persuaded by my whinings to get an acct.
B) too lazy to fill out the forms
C) equate my blog as something to READ and as I am told friends don't let friends read.
think of the possibilities... all the misinformation I could spread...muah ah ah ah>

So I will have to research and educate myself how to lead them, someone, anyone here..unsuspectingly....to read my blog.

ANYWAY....back to my original point. I finally got a counter on my site so I can see how many people are NOT reading my daily rant. In my quest, I revisited an old site that I promised myself numerous times to read frequently...but didn't...because I am a world class procrastinator....HTML GOODIES...I love that site and one day when I really read it enough I can put a link on here so you can enjoy it too. They think counters take too much memory and are more frivilous and they are correct....but I just wanted to because I am a Rebel...without a Clue and proud of it. So anyway....that was my small step yesterday to the middle of the short bus...where I am still wearing my helmet....chestplate....headgear...but I have only licked the windows maybe 3 times. :)
