The Weekend Report

Was the weather beautiful or WHAT? I wonder why after a hurricane the weather looks so lovely. Is it just after you have been thru hell anything seems better? Or is it just really truly that way.

I was remembering last year after Isabel hit here. Destroyed my home. I lost pretty much everything. My life too, was in upheaval. But now like the weather, things look pretty good and bright and I thank God for that. My friend always said If you are going through hell...well then, keep running and get yourself through it. And friends, I am happy to report that there is an other side to she $#!T we all have to go through and sometimes it seems it will never end but it does. Maybe you will not be immune to other heartbreaks and dramas in your life. But just to know that if you keep writing the story and keep trying to survive it....you will suceed. Maybe I could write a whole long blog on the subject of heartbreak...some of which I am well versed. But maybe too I would want to write of hope and survival. Not sappy Deliah stuff...not to say that maybe some of those stories are not real....they just seem so quick and storybook. You hear the gloss and ignore the loss and have some cotton candy story to tell. But I think the real story, the true happy endings are those about humban endurance and triumph in the face of tragedy. And the happy ending that follow as a result. Some endings expected some unexpected. I guess that is the beauty of it all. Let me think on that......
